Philip Arnold is the Senior Director of Quantum Consulting Accountants and takes a leading role in Financial Director services and Business reviews. He has 17 years of experience as a Finance Director and Chief Executive within a Plc. He has 18 years experience as Management Consultant and has negotiated and led corporate acquisitions and managed their subsequent integration into the structures of the acquiring companies.

Philip has helped established SMEs to grow and in some cases to later achieve a successful exit by way of a corporate sale to new investors. In addition he is well placed to help SMEs find new capital through new equity investors or new loan capital. He has also helped early stage businesses to become established and to achieve substantial growth.

Philip is a pragmatic profit and growth focussed FCA and Management Consultant, sensitive to both the long term and medium term results of any planned changes. He has highly developed innovation and commercial skills gained through real world experience. He has over 30 years of experience across a diverse group of companies ranging from some of the largest global consulting organisations, such as IBM, Arthur Andersen and KPMG, to membership focussed bodies such as the Institute of Directors, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Consulting. He became a member of the Institute of Management Consulting in 1989 and a Fellow of the institute in 1994. He joined the Institute of Directors (IOD) in 2000 and achieved a distinction in their diploma examinations in 2004. In 2005 he was awarded the status of Chartered Director by the Institute of Directors to become one of only 1,000 Chartered Directors in the UK.

He has very strong professional skills, as evidenced by his FCA and Chartered Director qualification. In addition he is a very hands on person with an unswerving focus on getting the job done in the best possible way, given the time constraints.

Prior to his employment Mr. Arnold studied at University College London and graduated in 1979 with an Upper Second Honours degree in Chemistry, with Mathematics and Physics as subsidiary subjects. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 and became a Fellow of the institute in July 2002
